The Big Snow -January 2010

I have been bogged down with a cold and school stuff over the last week. I am just now getting a chance to write about the Knoxville Snowstorm of 2010! Well I consider it a snowstorm because it's the most snow I've seen here in a very long time. It started snowing Friday evening, January 29th and continued over night. By Saturday morning, we had about 5 inches of snow! I don't really like cold weather at all, but somehow the snow makes it bearable. The view from our back porch looked picture-perfect. Everything was a blanket of pure white beauty. I loved it! I was most excited for Makayla to see her first big snowstorm! I put on my boots, mittens, jacket, and hat, and like an excited child exclaimed, "Let's build a snowman!"  I rushed to get Makayla dressed. She was so adorable in her fluffy snow snuggy! We had so much fun making a snowman, and I took a ton of pictures of Makayla. My parents surprised us with a visit while we were outside. I can honestly say that it was the most fun I had in awhile! The snow play was topped off with a big mug of hot chocolate with whipped cream. Here are some pictures of our fun times! Love it!
