It’s hard to believe that our little baby boy turned one month old this past Wednesday. The day he was born seems like yesterday. I took him to his one month well child visit yesterday and our little guy is growing so fast! So here are Jackson’s stats…
Weight: 11 pounds 6.5 ounces
Height: 20.9 inches
And would you believe that Makayla weighed the exact same amount at her one month appointment (exact to a ‘t’ 11 lbs. 6.5 oz.) That is really crazy.
Anyhow, Jackson was put on some medicine for reflux. Ah! He has been throwing up a lot since we first brought him home. At first I thought he was just eating too much but the doctor diagnosed reflux and said this medicine should make things better for everyone. Some times it’s really hard to get him settled down….because he doesn’t feel good. I feel so bad for my baby boy; I just can’t stand knowing his tummy and throat hurt. I pray this medicine works soon! Dr. B said that babies with reflux either over eat to try and soothe their tummies or they don’t like to eat (not thriving). Thankfully, he is eating and growing well.
What Jackson can do!...
Jackson has gotten really good at holding his head up for at least a minute at a time.
He is more alert now!
He is good at grasping things like our little fingers & my long hair.
Jackson is so cute, and he is a great little snuggle bug! :-)
