Christmas Peppermint Chex Delight!

This is a quick, delicious, and easy recipe for a holiday Chex mix.

All You Need is 3 Items!

  • 6 cups Rice Chex or Corn Chex cereal
  • 1 bag (12 oz) white vanilla baking chips (2 cups) or the equivalent of the vanilla almond bark
  • 1/3 cup crushed peppermint candy canes (about 14 miniature ones)

1. Get a very large bowl and put 6 cups of the cereal in.
2. Melt the white chocolate in the microwave, stirring every 30 seconds until it's melted.
3. Pour the melted white chocolate over the cereal. Toss to spread it evenly.
4. Spread mixture out on wax paper or a baking dish.
5. After it's dry (about 20 minutes), break apart gently & serve!

It's that easy.

I put mine in cute little holiday bags and tied it with a ribbon. For my children's teachers I got a really cute gift box like the one shown above. I used red/white striped holiday parchment paper to line the bottom.

All set to go. Makayla & Jackson are super excited to give the treats out!
